About us:

There is something you have always wanted, and of course you can only get it in Japan ‘cause that’s basically where all the really cool things come from? But you can’t buy it from an online shop, or they won’t ship it overseas?
Don’t fret! We’re here for you. We can go out there and hunt down the items of your dreams. Just name it. Fashion and accessories, manga, anime, doujinshi, merchandise, character goods, stationery and art supplies, electronics or even that Hello Kitty toilet brush you really need in your life.

How does it work?

It’s easy. Just follow these 4 steps:

1. Download the request form from HERE and fill in the items you desire. In case you don’t have the link for an online shop, we need a link to a picture of the item and the name of the brand, so we can go and look for it.

2. Send the form to our e-mail address. We will check for the items you requested and then send you a price quote including shipping and fees.

3. Pay. As soon as we have received the money, we will either order the items you requested or go to the store and buy them for you.

4. Wait. We will collect all the items from your request and then send them to you in one package to keep shipping fees at a minimum. You can choose between various shipping options such as EMS, SAL and others.

So, how much is the gig?                                                                                                                  
We charge a commission of 12% of the total value of your order (excl. shipping).
If your order is less than 5000 Yen we charge a flatrate of 1000 Yen. Small items that can be sent as letters or printed matters will be less. Please inquire for details.

Why use HelioPink?
With us you can always be sure to pay a minimum of fees. For instance, unlike other shopping services we don’t charge extra if you want to order from several stores, we’re also offering shipping options beside EMS which are often a lot cheaper. We also offer to inquire upfront if your desired item is available at no extra charge.

What fees do I have to pay?
Besides the commission of 12%  we charge an extra 100Yen for packaging.
If you pay via PayPal their fee will be added to the overall price.

Payment methods:
We accept PayPal and within € countries bank transfer.


FAQ:

Can you mark down the price on the package?
- Yes. We can do that. However, please note that any package will only be insured for the value that is on the receipt. In case of loss or damage, or if you get in trouble with customs, we won’t be held responsible.

Can you send my package as “gift”?
- Sure. However, this is not always the best option. Depending on the country, the tax exempt amount might be less for gifts (i.e. Germany). Please check your country’s custom regulations to make sure you’re not paying extra.

Can you bid for an auction on Yahoo! Auctions  for me?
- No, sorry.


Can you inquire upfront if my item is available?
- We will gladly do that. However, please be aware that without the money we cannot make reservations for an item and therefore can’t guarantee it will still be in stock by the time we receive the money.

What if I send you the money but my item is out of stock by the time you receive it?
- In that case we will refund the full amount for that item.

The item I'm looking for is sold out or from an older collection or a rare collectors item. Can you still try and find it for me?
- Yes we can try to find items that are no longer available through in store shopping or online. However extra fees will apply for this service as it takes a lot of time and money to go around Tokyo to check outlets and second hand stores. An extra non-refundable 1500Yen will be added for a "hunting period" of 2 weeks. Also you will have to transfer the maximum amount of money you're willing to spend on the requested item in advance, since prices for popular and rare items might be higher than the original price.

Can you go to the Closet Child stores and see if you can find a certain Lolita dress for me?
- Of course. Their in store stock is much bigger than what they have in their online shop. Prices however vary, so you’ll have to let us know how much you are willing to pay in advance. Also, they don’t reserve items, so it might be there one day and gone the next.
You can however transfer the maximum you’re willing to spend beforehand and if we’re not able to get the dress for you, we will refund the full amount at an extra fee of 1000 Yen.  If we get the item but it is cheaper than the set maximum we will refund the difference at an extra fee of 500 Yen.

If you want us to go on a proper "hunting session" that includes other stores beside Closet Child, the above fees for a 2 weeks period apply.
